Fizei is a wild whisper from the limestone hills of Lisbon—a wine born of play, patience, and pure instinct. Its name—a random baby word for "I did it"—perfectly captures the spirit of its creation: a deeply personal project by two winemakers who forge their own path rather than follow the rules.

Made from 25-year-old Arinto vines rooted in clay-limestone soils, this minimally interventionist white wine is anything but conventional. Two-thirds were fermented on the skins in open, upright barrels, and one-third in stainless steel tanks. Fizei is complex, vibrant, and raw. After six months of skin contact, the components were blended without any frills, filtration, or fining. Sulfur? Just the bare minimum.

The result? A textured, feather-light white wine full of energy. The aromas bounce between lemon peel, crushed fennel, and wet stone, with a faint waxy note from the lees aging. On the palate, it's crisp, slightly grippy, and surprisingly structured for a wine with only 10.5% alcohol. Somewhere between a classic Arinto and a short trip to the mash – Fizei doesn't just speak of the terroir, it hums.
