The enigmatically named hmm, well, puh is a true cellar accident turned into alchemy. This ultra-limited bottling (only approximately 90 bottles) began with Portugieser from old vines, which was directly pressed using a traditional basket press and then left to rest forgotten on the full lees in glass carboys for three years. A shot of 2023 Riesling (15%) and a splash of red wine (approx. 10%) were added before bottling, giving this wine its unique character.

Neither white, rosé, red, nor orange—hmm, well, phew, it defies classification. Cloudy and bright in the glass, it opens with wild aromas reminiscent of fresh strawberries, dried herbs, and a subtle oxidative note. On the palate, it's textured, tart, and a bit wild—reminiscent of Jura Poulsard, but entirely unique. Bottled raw: unfined, unfiltered, and sulfite-free.
