Light-footed yet rich in substance, Ciste is a light-colored red wine that combines aromatic expressiveness with silky depth. A co-fermentation of 70% red varieties such as Bastardo Preta and Negreda and 30% white grapes, including Malvasia, Bastardo Branco, and Formosa, it is spontaneously fermented and rests on the skins for only four days.

In the glass, Ciste is transparent and vibrant, with aromas of crisp cherries, pomegranate, and Fuyu persimmon. Floral notes, dried wild herbs, and a hint of earthy tones are added. The nose is reminiscent of dry heathlands and poppies blowing in the wind. On the palate, it is juicy and fresh, with surprising weight and texture—carried by clear, red fruit and spicy depth.

With its moderate alcohol content, Ciste is easy to drink and stimulating. Ideal with roasted vegetables, grilled poultry, or simply on its own—so charming that you'll hardly notice how quickly the bottle is empty.
