Light-footed and vibrant – this Mauzac captures the freshness of an early autumn morning. Directly pressed, harvested on September 9th and bottled just a week later – a natural process, spontaneously fermented, without added sulfur. Dry, honest, unpretentious – it simply flowed like a dream.
In the glass, it displays a pale gold hue with notes of green apple skin, delicate pear, and a hint of fresh yeast. The nose is clear and vibrant – an aroma reminiscent of crisp apples, steamy cellars, and warm bakeries. On the palate, the fine bubbles dance, lively, precise, and unpretentious.
