Tubarão Wines – Rediscover Minho’s wine culture with craftsmanship and sustainability

Deeply rooted in the rich culture of Northern Portugal is Tubarão A bold wine project from the Minho region. The goal is to revive traditional, fresh, low-alcohol wines with lively acidity and strong character. The project was launched in 2019 by passionate winemaker Ricardo, who is reclaiming forgotten vineyards in the historic Masseirafields restored – old coastal plots once known for their biodiversity and innovation.

Tubarão wines are handcrafted with minimal intervention and traditional methods that reflect the authentic spirit of the Minho region. Ricardo works on three different vineyards, each with its own microclimate and character. Small batches produce wines that emphasize sustainability, native grape varieties, and the natural rhythms of nature.
