Curativinho \u2013 minimal-intervention wines from the Alenquer region near Lisbon<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Curativinho<\/em> was born from the shared dream of two passionate winemakers: Miguel Nunes and his wife, both trained en\u00f3logos (winegrowing and cellar experts). This independent wine project is firmly rooted in the Lisbon wine region, more specifically in the historic terroir of Alenquer. For the pair, it represents a personal and creative escape from everyday life\u2014a chance to make wines that reflect their own vision: fresh, vibrant, and with minimal intervention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Miguel continues to work as head winemaker at Quinta do Carneiro, the grapes for Curativinho<\/em> from the same winery. But the philosophy behind winemaking is quite different: intuition, patience, and respect for natural processes are paramount. Fermentation and aging follow a raw, honest approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two grape varieties dominate the project: Castel\u00e3o and Arinto, both typical representatives of Portuguese viticulture. The grapes ferment and age together with skins and yeasts for six months in French oak barrels \u2013 a technique that imparts texture, complexity, and character. Only in March, after months of gentle extraction and development, are the wines pressed and bottled to preserve the purity of the fruit and the energy of the vineyard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Curativinho<\/em> is more than just wine \u2013 it is a celebration of creative freedom, family heritage and the potential of the Lisboa wine region to produce soulful, minimal-intervention wines that surprise and delight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
